There are two good ways to make sure your digital file will look exactly the same after being printed as it did on your computer monitor. One of them is to ask for a Match Print & the other is a color copy print out. Match Print is a process in which the actual film generated from your digital file is printed to reveal the completed work. Your file is printed one time & you end up with an exact replica of what your printed material will look like. This allows you to see all the colors, fonts, and layout of your product. If you notice errors, or things you wish were a little better, you can then correct them on your original digital file. If you are printing thousands of copies of your work & you want it to be perfect, this is the best thing to do. After all, if you choose not to take precautions and get a match print, most printers will not guarantee the final product for perfect color matching, and in some cases even font usage. Therefore you could end up paying the cost of reprinting if the completed job's colors or fonts are not to your liking. Take our advice, if the job is very important, or there are many copies being printed... Get a Match Print. |
